Dr. ElMaraghi is excited to be joining the Northwest Periodontics team, and offer her services to the community.

Dr. ElMaraghi completed a Bachelor’s of Science with a minor in Spanish at the University of Kentucky and went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. After graduation, she was accepted for the VA/ KY clinic residency at the University of Kentucky hospital and completed one year of GPR with intensive training in all areas of general dentistry including exodontia, geriatrics, conscious sedation, special needs patients, and fixed/removable prostheses.  She was accepted into the Periodontics Residency at Roudebush VA Medical Center, which is one of only three VA Periodontal surgical programs in the country as well as one of the strongest surgical and clinical programs. During her three year residency, she received a Masters of Dental Science with a minor in pathology from the University of Indiana School of Dentistry.

After residency she worked in a private practice with one of the most respected and sought after periodontists in Kentucky where she continued to learn and expand her surgical skills to include more complex treatment plans, full mouth restorations using implants (DIEM, Pro-Arch, all-on-4), and immediate placement and temporization of implants. With all of her patients, Dr. ElMaraghi uses a team approach in treatment with the patient’s preferred restorative dentist and other physicians as needed.

On a personal note, she has been blessed with a wonderful husband and daughter. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking, swimming, canoeing, and spending time with her family.

Now that she has joined Dr. Stanley Halpern, she would like to offer her services and experience to his patients and colleagues. Going forward, she hopes to offer decades of the finest patient care while increasing the variety of procedures offered at Northwest Periodontics.
